The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of an Arab resident who belongs to a banned group aimed at undermining Kuwait’s security and destabilizing its basic systems, after it was found that it was planned to carry out a terrorist terrorist operation targeting the places of worship. The ministry explained that the monitoring and follow -up process resulted in the arrest of the accused, as it was found in his residence for materials and devices that are included in the manufacture of explosives, in addition to the methods of preparing them, which revealed the seriousness of the plan that he intended to implement. In its statement, the Ministry of Interior affirmed that it will firmly and strongly address any attempt to prejudice Kuwait’s security or threaten the safety of citizens and residents, stressing that the security services are vigilant and able to thwart any terrorist plans targeting the country.
