Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, affirmed the distinguished relations that bring together the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly Islamic Republic of Pakistan from advanced levels of cooperation and joint coordination.
This came at a meeting at the Al -Qudaibi Palace this morning, in the presence of Ahmed bin Salman Al -Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Ghanem bin Fadl Al -Buainain, Minister of Affairs of the Shura and Representatives, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, President of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister welcomed the President of the National Assembly in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the accompanying delegation, wishing them a good residence in the Kingdom of Bahrain, pointing to the opportunity for the mutual official meetings an opportunity to dialogue and exchange experiences, especially in the legislative fields, in a manner that establishes the concept of parliamentary diplomacy, and supports implementation efforts and move to joint work programs.
He pointed out that the bilateral work between the two brotherly countries is witnessing a continuous growth that reflects the durability of the established historical ties based on mutual respect, and the continuous endeavor to expand the base of partnerships in a way that enhances the mutual interests between them.
He expressed his thanks for the contributions of the Pakistani community in the march of development and construction in the Kingdom of Bahrain, pointing to the respect and appreciation of its sons, based on the atmosphere provided by the Kingdom that celebrate everyone, and enshrines the values of coexistence and tolerance between everyone who lives on its land.
During the meeting, a number of issues of common concern were also reviewed, and the latest developments and developments on the regional and international arenas were discussed.
For his part, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, President of the Pakistani National Assembly, thanked His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister for the warmth of the meeting, praising the continuous development witnessed by relations between the two countries in various fields, hoping for the Kingdom of Bahrain more progress, development and prosperity.
