Babco Refining Company, Dr. Abdul Rahman Jawahiri, for his pride in hosting the Kingdom of Bahrain to the International Conference on Manufacturing Industries, which collected more than 2500 specialists, and attracted about 7,000 visitors to the conference and the accompanying exhibition. He stressed that the convening of this event is under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, formed a qualitative shift, and established Bahrain’s position as a major destination for international exhibitions in this field. The involvement of Bahraini youth in this event, as they had the opportunity to directly contact international experts, which enhances their career.
He pointed out that the exhibition contributes to achieving the sustainable development of the sector, as it witnessed the participation of more than 53 international companies, including major companies such as Aramco, SABIC, Hallibrton and Technip, in addition to representatives of more than 50 countries. Stating that this conference comes as a complement to the “Mios Geo” conference, which focused on exploration and exploration, while the current event focuses on refineries, petrochemicals and other manufacturing industries. He thanked and appreciated His Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, for his continuous support, and to all international parties and companies that contributed to the success of this event.
For his part, the CEO of the Babco Group Enemz Mark Thomas, confirmed that this conference is the largest of the Gulf Manufacturing Association in 2025, where he was collected under one roof, the most prominent manufacturing companies in the Gulf, led by Babco Enege. He explained that the conference represented an important opportunity for customers and suppliers to see the latest technologies and developments in the manufacturing sector, and to strive to improve efficiency and business development, as well as being an ideal platform for establishing new partnerships with various companies.
Thomas added that hosting this international gathering on the land of Bahrain strengthened its position as a pioneering regional platform that brings together the main players in the manufacturing sector, and opens the way for exchanging experiences and developing business on more innovative and sustainable foundations.
