Ras Al -Khaimah: “The Gulf” launched the Environmental Protection and Development Authority in Ras Al Khaimah, a community initiative to distribute a thousand fruit trees to citizens and residents, in homes, and 3 thousand trees overlooking industrial facilities, in cooperation with the Public Services Department, the strategic partner of the initiative, within the efforts of the authority, aimed at supporting environmental sustainability and encouraging local agriculture. The move came from the authority’s commitment to support Ras Al Khaimah’s vision to increase the green area, and to contribute to achieving the UAE’s targets in food security, by enhancing local agricultural production and encouraging sustainable agricultural practices.
