Sayed Abdel Hafeez, the former director of football in Al -Ahly Club, talked about his position on candidacy in the upcoming Red Castle’s board elections, after the session that brought him together with Mahmoud Al -Khatib, the club president.
Syed Abdul Hafeez: I may have an intention to run for the upcoming Al -Ahly club elections
Sayed Abdel Hafeez said during his speech on the “Al -Koura with Fayek” program broadcast on the MBC Egypt channel: I may have an intention to run for the upcoming Al -Ahly club elections.
Abdel Hafeez added: I did not go out of Al -Ahly until I return to him, I was 36 years old in Al -Ahly and I have no passion for something other than an ordinary.
He concluded his remarks by saying: I keep the known and I do not forget anything that happens with me and Captain Al -Khatib is an older brother. He is the first to put me on the road to be director of the ball.
According to a special source inside Al -Ahly, in statements to Cairo 24, Syed Abdel Hafeez came to the club’s headquarters yesterday evening.
The source continued: During the session, Mahmoud Al -Khatib asked Sayed Abdel Hafeez to prepare his nomination papers on the position of membership of the Board of Directors in the upcoming elections.
During the session, the two parties discussed some of the matters concerning the football team during the current period before its official return to the club.
It is noteworthy that Al -Ahly will open the door for candidacy for the new Red Club elections tomorrow, Saturday, at nine in the morning, to continue until the third of next October.
