Sheikh Mohamed Kamal, the Secretary of the Fatwa at the Egyptian Ifta House, answered a question that says: What is the need for need and how to pray and what is the best time for its prayers?

Sheikh Muhammad Kamal explained, during televised statements, that the need for the need is a fixed year from the Prophet ﷺ, which is one of the great prayers that carry a special secret to God Almighty, and the Prophet began to relieve the calamities and eliminate the needs.
It was narrated that one of the Companions came to the Messenger of God ﷺ asking him to teach him a supplication that he answered, and the Prophet said to him: He performed ablution and two rak’ahs and then say: Oh God, I ask you and go to you with your Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy, O Muhammad, I will intercede for you on my Lord in my need and you will decide on me, indicating that supplication can be for any need such as marriage or facilitating the livelihood or facilitating the livelihood.
And the sheikh indicated that how the prayer of need is that the Muslim performs ablution and prays two rak’ahs such as the year of Morocco or dinner, then he calls this supplication in his prostration, because the closest thing to the servant is from his Lord while he is prostrating, as it can be repeated after peace.
He added that the best time to perform the need is after the evening prayer, where the weather is quieter and reverence is greater, but it is permissible to perform it at any time of the day or night except for times of hatred.
He affirmed that the prayer of need is a great door of supplication to God, and whoever performs it with certainty and reverence, God facilitates his command and requires his need with his thanks and mercy.
