The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning revealed that the procedures for registering part of the property No. 05016623 have been completed in the Budaiya area to be a “land and sea station” to supply fuel.
The ministry indicated that work is currently underway to issue the ownership document by the Survey and Real Estate Registration Authority according to the used mechanism, stressing at the same time that it is not possible to allocate the property required to establish an occasions in Budaiya.
In its response to the proposal of the Northern Municipal Council regarding the allocation of part of the aforementioned property in favor of establishing an occasions for the people of Al -Badi, that the request was studied in terms of planning and technical, and it turns out that the region already contains two existing halls, which covers the currently available need.
The representative of the third department in the municipal council in the northern governorate, the municipal director, Mohamed Al -Dossary, had submitted a proposal to allocate the site as an occasion hall for the people of Budaiya, due to the region’s need for such places, due to the lack of similar facilities sufficient to serve the people. He pointed out that the increasing population in Budaiya and the surrounding areas necessitates the provision of new places that accommodate the growing societal needs.
Al -Dossary added that the proposal would contribute to providing a suitable space for the people of the region to hold their various occasions, as it will reduce the financial burdens on the people who are currently forced to rent special halls at high prices outside the region.
