Dr. Ahmed Al -Sobky, Chairman of the General Authority for Health Care, met with the artist Hani Salama, in the context of completing the state’s strategy to attract Egyptian medical competencies abroad, where a national platform for detection and medicine was announced remotely, depending on benefiting from the experiences of Egyptian medical minds abroad and linking them to the health system inside Egypt.
A national platform for detection and medical detection
Dr. Ahmed Al -Subki explained that this platform comes as a qualitative step towards developing the smart health care model in Egypt, as it will allow the provision of medical and therapeutic consultations from a distance through the authority’s hospitals, in a way that enhances the quality of medical service and makes it more flexible and compatible with the needs of citizens in the various governorates of the application of the comprehensive health insurance system.



Al -Subki pointed out that the initiative will be carried out in direct coordination with the Egyptian embassies abroad and the ministries and the concerned authorities, to ensure effective implementation and the maximum benefit from Egyptian international experiences, stressing that the advanced technological structure of the authority is qualified to embrace this ambitious project that keeps pace with the latest international practices in the field of digital health.
The head of the commission also announced the selection of the artist Hani Salama as the ambassador of the national platform, in appreciation of his initiative to support the building of databases for Egyptian doctors abroad in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, praising his community as a technical ambassador that enhances citizens’ confidence in national health initiatives and embodies the concept of partnership between art and the health sector in the service of the country’s issues.
For his part, the artist Hani Salama expressed his pride in participating in this national step, stressing that the Egyptian minds are shining globally and the time for their experiences has come to those who deserve it inside the homeland with dignity and ease, stressing that the platform will be a bridge that links our doctors abroad and citizens inside, and devotes the values of giving and belonging.
The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of joining efforts between state institutions, civil society, art and media to support national initiatives, as Dr. Ahmed Al -Sobky and artist Hani Salama discussed the mechanisms of implementation and future cooperation prospects in order to achieve the utmost benefit to the Egyptian citizen.
The meeting was attended by the General Authority for Health Care, Dr. Ahmed Hammad, Advisor to the Chairman of the Authority for Policy and Health Systems and the Director General of the General Administration of Strategic Administration, Dr. Jamal Ratba, Advisor to the Chairman of the Authority for Actuarial and Financial Studies and Chairman of the Central Administration for Corporate Support Services, Major General Hisham Shendi, Advisor to the Chairman of the Authority for Electronic Health and Communications Medicine, Dr. Mahmoud Al -Deeb, Assistant Executive Director of Planning and Health Maps and Director General of the Technical Office for the Chairman The Authority, Dr. Mohamed Badr, Director General of the General Administration of Secondary and Secondary Welfare, and Dr. Shadi Farhat, Head of the Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit at the Authority.
