The Gulf Hotels Group, the leading company in the hospitality sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, celebrated the conclusion of the second edition of its summer training program for the year 2025, which comes as part of its continuous efforts to support Bahraini youth and enable them to gain practical experiences that pave the way for a promising professional future in the hospitality sector.
The program aims to raise the readiness of Bahraini students to the labor market, by providing them with the opportunity to gain direct practical experiences within a professional work environment, and to participate in practical training in various group hotels. Participants are distributed in multiple departments such as the reception department, food and beverages, kitchen, marketing and sales, organizing events, human resources, information technology, financial affairs and accounting, purchases, maintenance and internal supervision, starting from July 1 and for an eight -week, which allowed them to identify various aspects of hotel work and develop the basic basic skills required.
The program was prepared to suit the specializations of Bahraini students at the university stage in addition to the new graduates, where the participants enjoyed the supervision and professional guidance of specialized cadres throughout the training period, and they received, upon its conclusion, they received certificates Hospitality sector.

Commenting on the conclusion of the program, Mr. Ahmed Janahi – CEO of the Gulf Hotels Group said: “The summer training program is not limited to practical training only, but also provides an integrated educational experience that opens professional horizons for the participants in the hospitality sector. This year came with the participation of 42 trainees from universities and schools, which reflects our continuous commitment to support Bahraini competencies and refine its skills. It exceeded 22%, including 40% in senior management in all the group’s hotels, which confirms the growing presence of Bahraini cadres.
It should be noted that this program comes as an extension of the efforts of the Gulf Hotels Group in supporting national competencies, in the forefront of the “Future Program” launched by the group in 1974, and is one of its most prominent strategic initiatives. The program gives Bahraini youth the opportunity to study hotel management in prestigious educational institutions, in addition to the regular practical training in various operational departments. It also provides financial support that includes a monthly salary during the study period, and guarantees the participants to hold leadership positions within the group after graduation, which reflects the group’s commitment to strengthening Bahnah and developing national competencies in the hospitality sector.
