Sheikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, affirmed that the governorate pays special attention to the social security file as the cornerstone of the country’s progress, growth and prosperity; Because security has a pivotal role in maintaining social peace, achieving stability and spreading reassurance among citizens, residents and visitors.
This came during his presidency of the meeting of the security committee in the governorate, in the presence of a number of representatives of the security departments of the Ministry of Interior, as the attendees reviewed ways to enhance security plans and measures within the governorate in a way that contributes to the consolidation of security and community safety, praising His Excellency the continuous efforts and dedication shown by various security departments in preserving the system and applying the law.
The Governor stressed the necessity of activating the community partnership by strengthening direct communication channels with the people, following up their observations and needs related to the security aspect and working to find appropriate solutions to them and address them in coordination with the competent security departments, stressing the importance of involving individuals and civil society institutions in designing and implementing preventive initiatives in a way that achieves integration in efforts to establish a safe and stable community environment.
