This morning, the Egyptian Red Crescent pushed the convoy of “Zad Al -Azza … from Egypt to Gaza”, which carries a number of urgent humanitarian aid trucks towards the Gaza Strip, as part of its continuous efforts as a national mechanism to coordinate aid to Gaza.
In a statement, the Egyptian Red Crescent said that the convoy of “Zad Al -Azza” on its 39th day carried more than 1700 tons of aid, which included more than 1400 tons of food and flour baskets, and more than 300 tons of drugs and relief supplies, and this comes within the framework of Egyptian efforts to provide food and relief support to the people of Gaza.

It is noteworthy that, the convoy of “Zad Al -Azza … from Egypt to Gaza”, launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent, started on July 27, carrying thousands of tons of aid that varied between: food supply chains, flour, children’s milk, medical supplies, treatment drugs, personal care requirements, and tons of fuel.
The Egyptian Red Crescent is as a national mechanism to coordinate and promote aid to Gaza, on the border since the start of the crisis, where the Rafah crossing was not closed from the Egyptian side permanently, and continued to be prepared in all logistical centers and its continuous efforts to enter the aid that amounted to more than half a million tons of humanitarian aid and relief, with the efforts of 35 thousand volunteers in the association.
