Engineer Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and Eng. Hazem Al -Ashmouni, Governor of Sharqia, inspected the Abu Ragheb “Ragheb” sewage station in Sharkia Governorate, a design with a design with a design of 20 thousand m3/ day, which is one of the vital stations that are implemented with funding from the World Bank, within the National Sanitation Services Program.
The Minister of Housing affirmed that sanitation projects are witnessing a great expansion in various governorates, within the Egyptian state’s plan to improve sanitation services, especially in rural areas, stressing the importance of expediting the completion of the expansion and household connections to achieve the maximum benefit from implemented projects.
The Eastern Governor also stressed that the state pays great attention to implementing development and service projects, especially drinking water and sanitation projects, noting that the governorate seeks to establish new water stations and sewage brings that contribute to strengthening infrastructure and achieving sustainable development in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
The Minister of Housing and the Governor of the Eastern, and their companions, walked with the components of the “Ragheb” sewage treatment station, to serve the citizens at the Abu Kabir Center, and the villages (Toukh – Kafr Al -Aasar and its dependencies “Kafr El -Sheikh, Al -Sheikh and Al -Muslimiya” – Al -Rahmaniyah – Khaleeh Al -Sharif – Al -Daoudoun – Kafr Al -Sawaki – Damain Faqous – Carmos and Mnasterley), and listened to an explanation of the project components, and the processing mechanism of the ventilation system Surface, where expansion of the station was implemented by the Block Design, 10 thousand cubic meters per day, to reach 30 thousand cubic meters per day.
This came in the presence of officials of the Ministry of Housing and Sharkia Governorate, the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sewerage, the National Authority for Drinking Water and Sewerage, the Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Sharkia Governorate, and the executing companies.
