Fishermen’s associations in the Emirate of Fujairah received directives and decisions of the “Fujairah Environment Authority” regarding the regulation of fishing operations in Qaqir, by determining their allowances allowed for the fisherman to be used throughout the year according to the quality of the boat used in fishing. The new dimensions and distances for hunting areas in the emirate were also identified as part of their efforts to maintain fish wealth and organize fishing activities to achieve environmental and economic sustainability.
