The city of Dikirnis and a number of its local units in Dakahlia Governorate, today, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, will witness an interruption in drinking water that lasts for nearly 8 hours, as part of works carried out by the Dakahlia Drinking Water and Sewerage Company on the main lines.
The company said in a statement, that the interruption began at nine in the morning, and it is scheduled to continue until five in the evening, to include the city of Dikirnis and a number of local units: Ashmoun Al -Rumnah, Demouh, Najir, Kafr Abu Nasser, and Demclet.
She explained that the reason for the interruption is due to the implementation of the work of linking major water lines with a diameter of 400 mm at 600 mm in Dakirns, which is implemented by one of the contractors within the plan to develop and improve networks.
The company demanded the citizens to manage their water needs during the interruption period, as it appealed to government departments, bodies, hospitals, and bakeries, to be careful and take the necessary preparations to ensure the continued provision of its services to the public without being affected
