Argentina and Paraguay will also host one match.

The number of teams participating in the 2026 World Cup has already been expanded in the United States, Mexico and Canada from 32 to 48 teams.

And if the FIFA agrees to the proposal to increase the number of teams, the World Cup will turn into a championship that includes 128 games, which is twice the number of matches in the current version that consists of 64 games that were playing from 1998 to 2022.
FIFA is preparing to organize the ceremony of the 2026 World Cup draw, which will be held in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico, with the participation of 48 teams for the first time in history.
