The Committee for Equal Opportunities and Balancing Gender in the sports field of the Bahrain Olympic Committee held its periodic meeting headed by Sheikha Dr. Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa, member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Chairman of the Committee, on Monday, September 29, 2025 at the committee’s headquarters.
Sheikha Dr. Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa started the meeting by welcoming the members of the committee, praising the efforts made during the last period, which resulted in the implementation of qualitative initiatives that contribute to supporting the committee’s march and achieving its strategic goals.
The meeting witnessed a review of the training and development plan, and the media strategy, in addition to sports programs on the agenda of the committee. I also reviewed the results of the coordination meetings and field visits carried out by the committee for sports federations.
At the end of the meeting, she stressed the importance of redoubling efforts and enhancing joint cooperation in a way that contributes to the implementation of the committee’s initiatives and achieving its vision in the field of equal opportunities and balance between gender.
