Major General Dr. Samir Faraj, the military and strategic expert, talked about the features of forming a joint Arab force in conjunction with the approaching Arab -Islamic summit in Qatar, pointing out that President Sisi wanted to form one Arab force in the NATO method in 2015.
Samir Faraj reveals the features of forming a common Arab force if approved
Faraj added, during statements to Cairo 24: The Egyptian Chief of Staff is the Assistant Secretary -General of the League of Arab States for Military Affairs, and whoever leads the joint Arab force upon approval will be the chief of staff, or a leader from Egypt is chosen who is an officer with the rank of team with a deputy from Saudi Arabia, and a command council from the joint Arab countries.
And Abizaid: The joint Arab force includes all weapons, and it has the presidency of staff and leadership and will be formed according to the size of each country, and if any aggression happens these forces move to defend the state, Egypt is the largest army that exists with its capabilities, capabilities and military background, and at least it will participate in a squad of 20 thousand soldiers, and there is no country that will participate in the same amount.

He pointed out that the timing of the spread of the president’s speech on the joint Arab force is very correct and appropriate and comes in conjunction with an Arab -Islamic summit, adding: There is a joint defense agreement and did not even once, and we hope to agree to form the joint Arab force. The Israeli aggression on Qatar revealed the extent of our need for this force, the hope of Egypt and the Arabs is unity and not to rely on America or any other force.
