Sources for Cairo 24 revealed the latest developments related to the Egyptian national team, scheduled for next November, which comes as part of the Pharaohs’ preparations for the 2025 African Nations Cup in Morocco.

The sources pointed out that the Egyptian national team, which is scheduled from 10 to 18 November, will be held in the UAE, and the Pharaohs will play on the sidelines of two friendly matches against two teams from the continent of Africa.
The sources added that the Egyptian team was offered to hold two friendly matches during the November camp, and the first proposal was their stay in Qatar, but the preparations for the Arab Cup coincided with the applicant for the proposed camp for the Egyptian team made the matter complicated, due to the preoccupation of the Qatari stadiums with the preparations for hosting the Arab Cup, which prevented the residence of the Egyptian national team in November there.
The sources pointed out that the Egyptian national team led by Hossam Hassan was welcoming the November camp in Qatar, but the circumstances did not help, before another show appeared to face the Cameroon and Zambia teams, but Hossam Hassan refused to confront any team led by an Israeli coach, so that the idea of playing a friendly match against the Zambia team led by Israeli coach, Avram Grant.
The sources continued, saying that the list of teams that were proposed to confront in November included Nigeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria and Mali, as it is classified as the first classification in Africa, which Hossam Hassan considered the most suitable choice for the next stage, which is preparing for the African Nations Championship 2025 competitions.
