Osama Abu Al -Majd, head of the Automobile Traders Association, stressed that the prices of used cars are directly linked to the prices of new cars, explaining that the pricing of used cars is taking place according to the new car.

Abu al -Majd added during his meeting with the media Dina Esmat on the evening DMC program, that the situation today makes us return back and specifically at the end of 2024, which he described “the most difficult year has passed on the car sector in 25 years.”
The head of the Automobile Dealers Association explained that the year 2024 witnessed strict import restrictions that led to the scarcity of the supply and thus high prices.
He noted that since the beginning of the end of 2024 until now, the situation began to improve gradually, especially with the improvement of economic indicators, and the issuance of presidential instructions to localize the auto industry, and any glory indicated the emergence of new cars model of the year at prices starting from 640 thousand pounds.
Abu al -Majd emphasized that Egypt is heading to localize the car industry and the feeding industries and the next year will be the year of harvest.
