The Dubai Court of Appeal ruled that an Asian woman was acquitted of the charge of bringing narcotic substances, after it canceled a ruling issued by a first -class court in her imprisonment of 10 years, fined her 100,000 dirhams and removed her from the state after the implementation of the punishment, to be convicted of bringing 20 electronic cigarettes containing oil suspected of being anesthetic, upon arrival at Dubai Airport last December. In detail, an inspector at the airport suspected the defendant’s bag, while passing through the inspection device, so she summoned her to inquire about the existence of any banned materials, but the accused denied her possession of any prohibitions.
