Dubai: The Gulf General Command of Dubai Police warned the drivers of the dangers of parking in the road should not be necessary, stressing the need to use the nearest safe position outside the road when a sudden malfunction in the vehicle or any emergency matter occurs, as the unjustified standing on the road should be considered a dangerous traffic violation that may lead to grave incidents and hinder the smooth flow of traffic. This came after the death of a person in a collision between a motorcycle and a truck that occurred this morning on Sheikh Zayed Street before the Arab Malagia Bridge towards Abu Dhabi, as a result of a joint error between the two sides of the accident, one of which is for his unsafe stand on the shoulder of the road, and the other because of his neglect and lack of attention.
