Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God preserve him, “Dubai Humanitarian”, an emergency air shipment to Afghanistan, in response to the devastating earthquake that struck its territory early last week. The shipment was organized in cooperation with a number of humanitarian action partners hosted by Dubai Humanitarian, including the World Health Organization, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the United Nations Humanitarian response warehouse of the World Food Organization and the United Nations Children’s Fund.
