Mohammed bin Zayed University of Humanities announced the development of the Bachelor of Islamic Studies Program, by integrating the accurate specializations that include jurisprudence and fatwa, the Qur’an and hadith, discourse and religious society, in a unified program, to reach learning outputs, taking into account the requirements of the times, in a way that guarantees the combination of cognitive depth and openness to Islamic studies in all its fields. This development comes to enable the student to absorb the legal purposes and their applications in a proper way, while enhancing its capabilities to derive legal rulings and analyze texts in a way that achieves the great values in Islam and highlight the values of mercy, tolerance, peace and science and correct concepts according to the national identity of religious discourse in a state
