Cairo 24 website monitored the reopening of the Dr. Joudeh Muhammad Awad Center, in the Azbakeya area of Cairo Governorate, and the doctor’s return to practice its activities, despite the issuance of a decision by the Medical Syndicate to stop it from practicing the profession for a year, and another from the Ministry of Health and Population to close the center and the laboratory attached to them for violating the health requirements and licenses.

During the site’s tour, yesterday, Thursday, it was found that there was a receptionist who organized the dates of medical examination and conducting pre -booking for patients wishing to sign the examination of the doctor, confirming Cairo 24 The reception of the doctor, Awwad’s quality, for patients on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, where work begins at nine in the morning after registering patients from eight in the morning.
The receptionist explained that the doctor is flocking to patients from governorates, different areas of Upper Egypt and remote areas, explaining that the value of the medical examination amounts to 600 pounds, the patient will receive an official receipt in the amount paid.
It was also noted that the center was recently renewed and contaminated again, while the official seals were removed from the door of the laboratory attached to it, which was carrying the closing decision number issued by the Free Treatment Committee at the Ministry of Health, which reflects the return of the activity within it completely.
Awad quality stopping decisions to practice the profession and close his medical center
Last April, the General Union of Doctors issued a decision to suspend Dr. Jouda Awad from practicing the profession for a full year, against the backdrop of violations that it considered to affect the honor of the profession. The violations included, according to the union’s statement, not to adhere to the right behavior and violate the dignity of the profession, as well as the use of new methods in diagnosis and treatment that were not completed scientifically and morally, and did not prove its effectiveness or published in approved scientific journals, as well as not obtaining licenses from the competent health authorities.
The violations also included allowing the doctor to use his name in promoting medicines, drugs and various treatment means through social media, in violation of the provisions of Law No. 151 of 2019 regarding the establishment of the Egyptian Medicine Authority and the Unified Purchase Authority, as well as Law No. 206 of 2017 regulating the announcement of health products and services.
In the same month, the Ministry of Health and Population, represented by the Free Treatment Committee, had issued a decision to close the Dr. Joudeh Awad therapeutic Center and a factory of a test for it, for violating the health requirements and licenses.
