The city’s executive bodies launched an enlarged campaign targeting the violating commercial shops in the regions of Al -Karama, housing Egypt, and the fourteenth district, in implementation of the directives of Eng. Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities, the need to address all forms of violations and eliminate randomness within the new cities, and under the supervision of Eng. Mahmoud Murad, head of the new Obour City Authority.
The campaign was attended by the Development Department, the Security Department, the Reconstruction Police, and the Cleanliness Department, as well as the heads of neighborhoods, and efforts resulted in the closure and shampoo of 19 violating shops that were carrying out its activities without official operating licenses.
The head of the agency stressed that these campaigns come within a comprehensive plan to impose discipline and preserve the civilizational appearance of the city, stressing that it will never be allowed to practice any commercial activity without fulfilling legal licenses, while continuing to launch daily campaigns to follow up the commitment.
He sent a clear message to the owners of shops and commercial activities, warning that the device will not tolerate any violation, and that the inspection campaigns will continue periodically and intensively to ensure the full commitment to the rules regulating commercial work, in order to preserve the rights of citizens and preserve the cultural nature of the city.
