The drinking water and sanitation company in Kafr El -Sheikh Governorate announced the cutting of drinking water in Riyadh and a number of its villages, today, Wednesday, September 24, 2025, due to periodic maintenance work on the main water lines feeding the region.
The Drinking Water Company in Kafr El -Sheikh Governorate said in a statement that the areas affected by the cutting of water include: Riyadh, the village of Al -Rasif, Al -Husaya, Al -Raghama, Makhzen, Triangle, Faraj Al -Kubra, Talbat 7, and Abu Shobbana, noting that the interruption period will start from nine in the morning, until eight in the evening.
The drinking water company in Kafr El -Sheikh Governorate confirmed that the maintenance work comes within the framework of its plan to raise the efficiency of water networks and improve the service provided to citizens, explaining that the utmost effort will be made to complete the repairs in the specified dates and gradually return the water pumping as soon as it is completed.
The company appealed to the citizens, bakeries, hospitals and all vital installations in the affected areas, the need to manage their water needs during the interruption period, noting that cars loaded with pure drinking water will be provided to move in the affected places upon request, by communicating on the hotline 125 of any landline.
The statement concluded by emphasizing the company’s apology to the people for this temporary interruption, stressing that these measures are necessary to ensure the continuation of the service with higher efficiency during the coming period.
