In the context of the continuous efforts to protect marine wealth and ensure the sustainability of natural resources, the Ministry of Interior confirmed that the Coast Guard Command managed to seize 770 violating marine traps (Qaqir), in addition to 8 violating hunting windows, during the month of August 2025.
The Coast Guard Command indicated that the necessary legal measures were taken regarding these violations, as these measures come within the intensive regulatory campaign to reduce maritime violations, and to ensure that the fishermen adhere to the laws and regulations in force, to preserve the environment and marine wealth in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
