Dr. Ibrahim Saber, the governor of Cairo, revealed the truth of what was circulated on social media about the fate of the historic Rish Café in Talaat Harb Square in the center of the capital.

The Governor of Cairo confirmed in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that the heritage cafe will remain the same and will not be prejudiced at all, explaining: Da Cafe was sitting on him Naguib Mahfouz, and no one will bring him closer, on the contrary, to its height and maintain it, and there is no permanent health to remove it or sell it as some claim.
Saber added that the governorate has an integrated plan to develop all historical and heritage facilities, pointing out that even the wooden façade of feathers cafe has not been changed, but was developed in a way that preserves its original character.
The governor categorically denied the authenticity of the hadiths circulating about the sale or investment of the café, saying: This speech is incorrect in form and object, stressing that the province is working to restore the luster of Khedive and heritage buildings such as Café Groubi in Talaat Harb, which will be opened soon.
Saber concluded his statements by certainly that a feathers will remain the same without any changes or removal, while the state’s commitment to preserving its historical and heritage value.
