A medical team in the “Burjeel Medical City” in Abu Dhabi succeeded in treating a two -year -old child, after he was diagnosed with a rare and complex neurological disease known as “Doistonia Syndrome”, which enabled him to stand and walk for the first time in his life after a long suffering with the disease. The child, Hamdan Khaled Salmin, was born in the 34th week of pregnancy, suffering from a comprehensive growth, which forced him to rely on nutrition through a nasal tube, as he was unable to fix his head, pronounce or walk, and the medical diagnosis showed a state of muscular tension in the lower extremities, which increased the difficulty of his movement and his ability to stand. “When Hamdan came to the city, I referred him to my colleague
