These partnerships intersect with the broader framework of the relations between the European Union and the Cooperation Council; The two parties renewed the support of strengthening European-Gulf cooperation in the light of the upcoming Gulf summit in Manama and the European-Gulf Summit 2026 in Riyadh, in a way that establishes the euros-and-Gulf bridges in the economy, energy and security.
The visit was completed with its humanitarian and religious dimension with the meetings of His Highness the Prime Minister in the State of the Vatican with His Holiness Pope Liu XIV and the Empire for Cardinal Petro Parolin, in confirmation of Bahrain’s approach based on tolerance, coexistence and interfaith dialogue.
