Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, stressed that building the capabilities of the executive cadres in the governorate is a basic priority within the executive plan for the population issue, noting that this contributes to managing programs and population and development plans efficiently, with the continuation of the work of the Follow -up and Field Evaluation Committee for population activities.
He also stressed the importance of supporting the national project for the development of the Egyptian family, which was launched by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, in addition to various government initiatives and programs related to the file of population and development.
This came during the governor’s discussion of the report presented by Mr. Bilal Habash, Deputy Governor and Chairman of the Human Development Committee and the General Supervisor of the Population Unit, on the participation of the Population Unit at the Governorate General Court in the activities of the third edition of the “Development of Leadership Skills Development and Paying Support to Supporting the Population issue”, organized by the Ministry of Local Development Training Center in Saqqara.
The Deputy Governor appreciated the fruitful cooperation between the governorate and the Ministry of Local Development in strengthening the population file, stressing that these courses contribute to raising the efficiency of workers in the domestic response program for the population issue, building their capabilities in the areas of population policies and countries’ experiences, preparing initiatives, advocacy plans and gaining support, follow -up, evaluation and reports preparation, as well as activating the role of social responsibility and analyzing the population position on The level of the province.
He participated in the session for the governorate of Beni Suef, after the nomination of the governor: Mohamed Sayed Al -Beheiri, Director of the Population Unit in the Governorate, as a coach of population policies and experiences of states, Nada Fathi, the university official at the Population Unit, Omaima Ahmed, Director of the Population Unit at the Samasta Center.
Where the executive delegation presented the local plan for the population issue, and reviewed the most prominent indicators that witnessed an improvement as a result of rapid interventions in the governorate.
The activities witnessed the presence of Dr. Fatima Jail, the demographic expert and head of the Central Administration of Population at the Ministry of Local Development.
