Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, witnessed a launching ceremony for the Fund for Supporting Projects of Associations and NGOs, in addition to opening the first conference of the fund, which aims to enhance the capabilities of civil society institutions and enable them to implement sustainable development projects that serve the most needy groups.
The launch of the fund comes within the framework of the state’s strategy to support civil action and motivate partnerships with societies and civil institutions to maximize its role in social and economic development.
For his part, Ahmed Saada, Executive Director of the Fund for Supporting Associations and NGOs, said that the launch of the fund and the opening of its first conference represents an important step to open new horizons for the partnership between the private sector and the civil society.
In his speech during the launching ceremony of the Fund for Support Projects Projects and NGOs, Dr. Ahmed Saada stressed that the fund will be a catalyst for civil work, and enables civil societies and institutions to reach citizens with more transparency and speed, in addition to providing technological solutions that support the implementation of projects and develop services provided to the target groups.
