Artificial intelligence is no longer just a future technique. Rather, it has become a tangible reality that knocks on the doors of classrooms around the world, transforming the essence of the educational process from a unified traditional model to a dynamic model characterized by intelligent and adapting to each learner separately. This technical revolution does not aim to replace the role of the teacher, but rather to enhance and empower him, and create a more rich, fair and effective educational environment.

At the heart of these transformations, the role of artificial intelligence in providing “adaptive and personal learning” highlights. Where all students in the same class have to follow the curriculum at the same speed and pattern of explanation. Thanks to smart systems, each student can interact with educational content specifically designed to fit his individual level.

These platforms analyze the student’s performance accurately, determine the strengths and enhance them, and reveal the weaknesses to be presented by targeted therapeutic exercises and alternative explanations, so that it ensures the mastery of the concept. This approach converts the student from a negative recipient into an effective partner on his educational journey.

The contributions of artificial intelligence were not limited to the student only, but also extended to enable the teacher and reduce the burden on him. Today, the teacher can rely on smart assistants to automate repeated and arduous administrative tasks, such as correcting objective tests and organizing grades.

Indeed, advanced systems are able to analyze students ’textual answers in duties and provide initial notes on method and rules, which liberates the precious time of the teacher to dedicate to the creative and humanitarian aspects of teaching, such as direct interaction with students, developing critical thinking skills and problem solving.

Artificial intelligence also plays a preventive and proactive role through “predictive learning”. By analyzing huge amounts of data such as attendance and departure records, interaction rates in the default separation, and the date of grades, the system can identify students who show indicators of their stumbling or the risk of leakage.

This data -based vision gives management and teachers a golden opportunity to intervene early and provide the necessary support before the problem is exacerbated.

On the other hand, artificial intelligence contributes to achieving the comprehensiveness of education and its access to all. The tools for identifying speech converts the classroom lectures into a vivid written texts for deaf students or hearing impaired.

Smart applications also help to provide content in different patterns that suit different learning patterns (visual, auditory, kinetic), which guarantees an inclusive educational environment for all students regardless of their differences and abilities.

Despite these promising capabilities, the application of artificial intelligence in education is not without serious challenges. Securing the personal data of students and its privacy is a major concern, in addition to the financial cost and the required infrastructure that may hinder the institutions of limited resources. The risk of excessive dependence on the machine may blur the boundaries between the machine as an aid tool and the teacher as a guide and an expert.

More importantly, it is the risk of biased algorithms if they are fed with unusual data, which may lead to unfair results.

In conclusion, artificial intelligence represents a new page in the book of modern education, a page whose axis is the student with its individual characteristics, and the teacher as a facilitator and a guide. Success in this journey requires adopting these technologies with wisdom and responsibility, while setting considerations of morals and justice to the monument of eyes, to ensure that this technical revolution is in the service of man, and works to build a brighter educational future for all.
