American reports revealed that the Israeli government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu, submitted a detailed proposal to Syria on a new security agreement between the two parties that includes a proposed map from Damascus to the southwest to the border with Israel.

According to the American website Exius, Syria did not want (until writing these lines) to the Israeli proposal, which was made several weeks ago, and was working to prepare a counter proposal in recent weeks.
He added that Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer and Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al -Shaibani will discuss the proposal tomorrow, Wednesday, in London, along with the American envoy Tom Barak, who mediates between the two countries, as this meeting will be the third triple of its kind.
The proposal includes a demand of Syria to agree to a large -scaler zone and an air embargo area on its soil, and that nothing changes on the Israeli side of the border, where the area southwest of Damascus will be divided into three areas, with the Syrians’ ability to maintain different levels of forces and various types of weapons according to the region.
The proposal also stipulates the expansion of the buffer zone on the Syrian side by 2 km, and that it is in the tape adjacent to the buffer zone and the closest to the border with Israel from the Syrian side, the presence of military forces and heavy weapons will not be allowed, while Syria will be allowed to maintain the presence of the police and the internal security forces.
Axius, quoting American sources, confirmed that the proposal states that the entire region from southwest of Damascus to the Israeli border will be classified as a flying area of Syrian aircraft.
In exchange for these restrictions imposed on the Syrian side, Israel proposed a gradual withdrawal from all the lands it occupied in Syria during the past few months, with the exception of an advanced position at the Al -Sheikh strategic summit, where Tel Aviv insists on preserving its presence at the summit of Jabal Al -Sheikh in any future agreement.
He also pointed out that the proposal also aims to maintain an air corridor to Iran via Syria, which would allow possible Israeli future strikes on Iran.

According to an Israeli official, the same American website indicated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is interested in arranging a meeting with Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly at the end of this September, but the chances of that meeting are low.
