Member of the Municipal Council of the Northern Region, representative of the ninth district, Abdullah Al -Qubaisi, revealed the start of internal and external maintenance work in the Fatima bint Al -Rasoul Mosque, located in the 1210 Squad, on the 1036th Road in Hamad City, explaining that the maintenance period will continue for about two months.
Al -Qubaisi stressed that the mosque that opened since the founding of Hamad Town in 1984, and is today 41 years old, is one of the most prominent landmarks of the region and a major destination for the people of the complex, which requires care and maintenance periodically.
Al -Qubaisi explained that interest in mosques and their maintenance represents a permanent demand from citizens, stressing the need for the role of worship to remain in the best way, in a way that preserves their sanctity, and enhances the safety of worshipers.
Al -Qubaisi’s statements came after a field visit to determine the progress of maintenance and monitoring its stages in the field, in coordination with the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments represented in the Sunni Endowments Administration.
