Al -Ahly opens the door for candidacy for the club’s board elections
The process of accepting the papers of the candidates to run in the new Al -Ahly elections began at nine o’clock this morning, Saturday, the twenty -sixth of October.
According to the above and announced by Al -Ahly in its official statement, the door for candidacy for the new Al -Ahly elections will remain open until next Friday, the third of next October.
So far, Mahmoud Al -Khatib, the current head of the Red Club, has not announced his decline in the decision not to run in the Red Castle elections for a third term.
Al -Khatib has previously announced in a statement reported by the official Al -Ahly club’s website that he did not want to run for the upcoming Al -Ahly elections due to his health conditions.
Although Al -Khatib announced, many of the symbols of the Red Castle tried to persuade him to refrain from his decision and run for a third term.
The members of the Red Castle’s Board of Directors also issued an official statement, during which they announced their rejection of Al -Khatib’s decision to stay away from the club’s presidency.
