The Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi announced the rules and guidance of school attendees, according to the policy of updated administrative affairs for students, for the academic year 2025-2026, stressing that “every day attendance is a step on the path of success”, and regularity in attendance is the key to success, the commitment to attend at the appointed time enhances the sense of responsibility, maintains the quality of learning, and guarantees the student superiority and prosperity. The department indicated that the rule of absence is (5% and 10%), and the rule applies to the justified and unjustified absence together, explaining that the percentage of absence is a disturbing for first -grade students until the twelfth if the student is absent more than 5% in a total of 9 days during the year, and for kindergarten students if the student is absent
