ABU DHABI/ Wam in the framework of the efforts of the United Arab Emirates to enhance its position as a leading country and a pivotal role on the international scene in the areas of nature preservation and the protection of biological diversity, and by supporting national positions and enhancing the UAE’s agenda in the field of nature at the international level, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs issued a decision to appoint Razan Khalifa Al -Mubarak as a special envoy to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Nature Affairs. This appointment comes to strengthen the strategic role of the UAE in international issues related to the protection of nature and biological diversity, and contributes to providing recommendations related to harmonizing external policies with itself
