A British man faces a prison sentence for up to five years, after trying to open the doors of a Ryan Air plane while flying, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing in Toulouse, France.
The plane was heading from the Luton Luton airport to Alyante, in southern Spain, before panic among the passengers as a result of the behavior of the drunk man and his group of “drunk men”, some of whom tried to intervene violently, and ignored the instructions of the crew.
Investigations, according to the newspaper “Daily Mail”, showed that the accused, who was described as a “gang leader”, was trying to open the emergency door, while the crew tried to calm the situation and protect children on board.

Four of his friends were also arrested at the same time.
The French authorities confirmed that the flight was returned to the atmosphere after getting rid of “rioters”, praising the crew of the plane in dealing with the dangerous situation.
“We are following the policy of not tolerating the unacceptable behavior of passengers, and we will continue to take measures to ensure a safe trip to all passengers and crew members,” Ryan Air said in an official statement.
