Engineer Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing and Urban Utilities, said that the ministry is committed to providing housing units for all groups of Egyptian society, stressing that the state provides great support for all units within a housing project for all Egyptians to ensure that citizens benefit, noting that “housing for all Egyptians” is characterized by being integrated.
Development of new cities and tourist interfaces
The minister said in televised statements that the ministry is working to establish integrated cities in the northern coast.
The minister revealed the allocation of new areas for the establishment of a new city, most notably the city of East Matrouh, while working to achieve an integrated link between these cities to maximize the benefit of the coastal international road, and also noted that the city of El Alamein has turned into a major tourism interface that currently attracts foreign nationalities.
Reviving Cairo Khedive and heritage areas
Al -Sherbiny pointed out that after the government moved to the new administrative capital, the ministry is working on a group of vital projects in Khedive Cairo, and these projects aim to revive the Khedive Cairo and raise their efficacy completely, and efforts include developing heritage gardens, such as the Azbakeya Park, which has been implemented a comprehensive revival.
