Dr. Muhammad Dia Zein El Abidine, President of Ain Shams University, Dr. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development and Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, congratulated the scholars of Ain Shams University, to include 73 scientists from Ain Shams University on the list of the best 2% of scientists most martyred in their research in the world.

17 scientists came from the College of Pharmacy, 16 scientists from the College of Science, 15 scientists from the College of Education, 14 scientists from the College of Engineering, 6 scholars from the College of Medicine, 2 from the College of Agriculture, one scientist from the College of Computers and Information Technology, one scientist from the College of Girls, and one scientist from the College of Commerce.
These categories were prepared by the Elsevier Scientific Publishing House in cooperation with Professor John Iwanids of Stanford University, and these scientists are highlighted by the depth of their experiences and the impact of their contributions in their various research fields.
