The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, on the occasion of the Arab Palm Day, which falls on September 15 of each year, affirmed its commitment to developing the palm sector and enhancing its sustainability through the programs and services provided to the Abu Dhabi farmers, including encouraging good practices to improve the quality of dates, and monitor farms to reduce the indiscriminate use of chemical pesticides, and the authority also supports farmers in the transformation towards Organic agriculture and cultivation of commercial varieties with high economic return.
