According to the research submitted at the joint conference of European planets science and the American Astronomical Society, any advanced civilization outside the planet must be at least 280,000 years old in order to coincide with the existence of humanity.
Scientists were based on comparing the conditions of life on Earth, such as the presence of tectonic plates, nitrogen -rich atmosphere (78%) and oxygen (21%), in addition to specific rates of carbon dioxide.
Maintaining a suitable environment requires an accurate balance in gases, as increasing carbon dioxide may lead to fatal thermal retention, while low oxygen reduces the chances of the emergence of industrial civilizations due to the impossibility of setting fire and minerals.
The importance of tectonic plates
Tech Tinton activity plays a major role in recycling carbon dioxide between the atmosphere and rocks, which helps in stabilizing the climate for long periods, but scientists warn that even the Earth is threatened with losing this budget within hundreds of millions of years, which may stop the optical acting process and eliminate life as we know it.
The researchers emphasized that satellite civilizations, if any, will be much older than humanity, and that their presence depends on very accurate geological and chemical factors, however, they stressed that the only way to ensure the existence of these beings is to continue research, as the discovery of an external civilization will be one of the greatest scientific achievements in the history of mankind.
