She added that the relationship between artificial intelligence and cybersecurity has become an integrative relationship, through which digital protection and proactive threats can be strengthened, but the expansion of the use of these technologies, especially “obstetric intelligence”, also opened the door to the emergence of new threats, the most prominent of which is “deep counterfeiting crimes” that witnessed a noticeable increase during the year 2025.
With the accelerated development in artificial intelligence techniques and the increase in dependence on them in various sectors, the Head of the Public Prosecution for Electronic Crime stressed the need to deal with these technologies with awareness and responsibility, in light of the enormous opportunities and growing challenges it carries, especially at the level of cybersecurity.
She added that the basic start of the field of artificial intelligence began between 1940 to 1950, as the US Department of Defense began training computers to simulate human thinking, and in 1940 the first computer was invented to decipher the military messages, and it was called that invention the prominent role in opening fields for more inventions based on artificial intelligence techniques.
