The Directorate of Youth and Sports in Damietta Governorate, led by Dr. Mohamed Fawzi, has announced the launch of the summer games in its first version, which is decided to be held in Ras al -Bar from 21 to 24 August, and the Damietta Summer Games course includes in its first edition the participation of more than 5 games that varied between individual and team games as well.
Dr. Mohamed Fawzi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Damietta, said that this step is the beginning of the beginning towards the launch of a package of actors inside Damietta Governorate, noting that interest in making a sports champion is the most important priority of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, explaining that Damietta’s first summer games will be the gateway to cross many sports talents in different games by providing the appropriate climate to announce themselves.
Fawzi stressed that the Summer Games 2025 in Damietta is receiving great attention from Dr. Ayman Al -Shehabi, the governor of Damietta, explaining that there is an important role that the governorate presented to support the start of that tournament and its exit in an optimal way.
The Undersecretary of Youth and Sports in Damietta pointed out that there is great support from Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, to develop the skills of all club players in various sports, stressing that these revitalization courses are an important step towards discovering more talents in preparation for providing the necessary support for them.
Dr. Mohamed Fawzi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Damietta, explained that there is a strong coordination between the Directorate of Youth and Sports and all sports federations in order to present a strong championship worthy of the name of the governorate, stressing that there are a joint work series sessions that are currently taking place between the Directorate of Youth and Sports and the heads of sports regions in Damietta to fully coordinate before the start of the tournament in its first version, stressing that these activities have a great impact not only to provide new heroes in the sky of Egyptian sport Strong in the province of Damietta Governorate to the sports investment yard and marketing its various ingredients, which achieves the processes of attracting sports investment within the governorate, as well as contributing to the marketing of the city of Ras al -Bar, tourism.
