The Ministry of Works has launched a tender for the project for the Huber refinery at the Tubli treatment plant, which includes the initial treatment phase, and includes the operation and maintenance of the Hopper Refinery with all the equipment associated with it, with the aim of covering the gap between the current contract and the expansion project for the fourth stage of the Tubli sanitation plant and ensuring the smoothness of the workflow and operation of equipment that represents great importance; As it is considered the first process of treatment in the station and the defect in it leads to a disruption in the course of the processing process.
Al -Ashbalah through the Board of Tenders and Auctions indicated that the scope of the project’s work includes:
1. Run the Hopper Refinery machines and the sub -system of the entrance: where the work of Hopper Refinery machines and the associated sub -systems should be monitored.
2. Implementation of planned preventive maintenance: trained technicians will conduct daily, monthly, and separate protective maintenance, in addition to emergency repairs for Hopper Refinery machines and all relevant equipment/systems.
3. Buy and provide spare parts: The project will include the purchase and supply of the planned and urgent spare parts by allocating a temporary amount.
The Ministry explained that the focus during these eight months will be to maintain the progress of operations smoothly and ensure the proper processing process until the expansion project is completed fourth, noting that this transitional period aims to facilitate continuity and reduce interruptions in the processes of the treatment plant and maintain the efficiency of wastewater treatment.
It is noteworthy that the fourth expansion project of the Tubli station is one of the important strategic projects of the Ministry of Works in the Sewerage Sector, as this project will contribute greatly to improving the environmental situation and fungal life in the Gulf of Tubli, in addition to raising the performance of the Tubli Center and increasing treated water production that is used in agricultural irrigation and cosmetic work, in order to meet the increasing demand for sanitation services; Because of the urban development and population growth in Bahrain.
