The Official Gazette published in the 175th issue issued on August 10, 2025, Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, the Minister of Interior, regarding allowing 21 citizens to naturalize foreign citizenship while retaining the Egyptian.

Resolution No. 1207 of 2025 came after reviewing the constitution and Law No. 26 of 1975 issued regarding Egyptian nationality and Ministerial Resolution No. 1004 of 2018 issued by the mandate of Major General Assistant Minister for the Minister’s Office’s Affairs Sector in the exercise of the competencies established by the Minister of Interior under Law No. 26 of 1975 regarding Egyptian nationality.
The first article stipulated that each of the twenty -one citizens should be authorized, the first of which is Taher Sabri Al -Sayyid Juma Ibrahim, the last of whom is Tariq Jamil Abdullah Muhammad Ali, whose names are listed by the statement attached to the naturalization of foreign nationality shown, the name of each of them, while retaining Egyptian nationality.
The second article stipulated that this decision be published in the Egyptian facts on 6/7/2025.
