The village of Kawramazah in the northern countryside of Raqqa witnessed an impressive humanitarian story, its Syrian hero, Uncle Abi Abdullah Al -Sarani, who, with his innovative idea, managed to save the young Ali Abdi after falling into a 60 -meter -depth in Bir Artazi, after efforts that lasted for more than 12 continuous hours.

Despite the attempts to rescue, which used advanced mechanisms and equipment, it is not possible to reach the little uncle Abu Abdullah to propose a simple and alternative plan, which was the use of a plastic tube, a rope and a wire connected to a surveillance camera, to direct the knot and fix it in the hands of the stuck child, and he was already successfully withdrawn in the first attempt, amid applause from the parents and tears of joy.
The Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management expressed its deep thanks and appreciation to Uncle Abi Abdullah, stressing that what he did embodies the authentic and creative Syrian spirit in its best form, as well as an official invitation to visit the ministry and honor him with what is appropriate for his human heroism.
For his part, officials thanked the state of Urfa for their continuous follow -up and cooperation, and to the presidency of the Turkish disaster and emergency department for their rapid intervention and their active response, and salutations were also directed to the people of the region who had a pivotal role in the success of the rescue process.
It was emphasized that work is underway to establish fixed emergency centers in the provinces of Raqqa and Al -Hasaka, which will be ready soon to serve the people, and to provide an emergency and rapid response to similar incidents, in order to preserve lives.
