The Hebrew Channel 12 reported, this evening, that estimates are increasing regarding the killing of the Houthi Chief of Staff and their defense minister in the attack by Israeli planes today.
Earlier today, the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported, quoting Israeli sources as saying that the assassination plan in Yemen was ratified at the beginning of this week.
This came after the bombing of Israeli aircraft for a meeting that includes senior leaders of the Houthi group today.
Israeli attacks in Yemen
Hebrew reports confirmed today that the raids carried out by the Israeli occupation aircraft on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, targeted the leaders of the Houthi group, and media reports pointed out that the raids targeted Houthi sites west of Sanaa, in addition to homes believed that leaders in the group were hiding inside.
The Israeli raids came in conjunction with the broadcast of a televised speech by the leader of the Ansar Allah group Abd al -Malik al -Houthi, which sparked speculation about the timing of the strikes.
In the first official comment, the Israeli Minister of Defense said that the attack targeted “several Houthi sites in Yemen”, stressing that the operation came in response to the repeated threats represented by the group.
