The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has opened the door for reducing alienation (scenes and non -scenes) for high school students, during the period from Thursday, August 14, 2025 to Monday, August 18, 2025, within the limits of the prescribed percentage (10%), and according to the regulations approved by the Supreme Council of Universities.

Computer laboratories are also available in government universities to provide assistance to students in completing the registration process, during the specified period.

While Shadi Zalta, a spokesman for the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, commented on the Ministry’s decision to implement the work of the Sunnah in the third preparatory grade to students coming to the first preparatory grade of the academic year 2025-2026, saying: Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi approved Law No. 169 of 2025 by amending the Education Provisions Law issued No. 139 in 1981, which includes a number of articles related to the baccalaureate system or the application of the Sunnis ’work not exceeding 20% for the third grade Preparatory.
The education spokesman added, in televised statements: The law did not mention any detail on the date of implementing the percentage of the Sunnis for the third preparatory grade, which is the decision issued by the Minister of Education today after President Sisi’s ratification of the law, which is related to the start of the implementation of the 20% percentage as the work of the year in the third preparatory grade starting from the students who will join the first preparatory grade in the next academic year.
He continued: In the sense of more correctly, the actual application of the academic year 2027-2028 will start, that is, until the first preparatory grade students reach the third preparatory grade, the percentage of the year’s work will be applied to them in the third preparatory grade.
